Bastyrion: Endless Tide is a survival and building game where every night brings a bigger wave of enemies than the last. You build your base block by block, wire it up, arm it with turrets, and when the situation demands it — you move it. But it's never enough. The tide always scales.
The goal isn't to build the biggest base. It's to build the one that holds against 6,000 simultaneous enemies hitting your walls at the same time.
You're stranded in an archipelago taken over by a corruption that awakens every time the sun goes down. Island by island, you destroy corrupted cores to push forward. When a core falls, the island clears — you can farm resources, explore, and prepare for as long as you want before moving on. But when you decide to face the core, the Final Tide is unleashed: a mass of enemies flowing in from every angle that doesn't stop until one of you falls.
Key Features
Voxel Building with Real Physics Intuitive drag-to-build system. Every block affects weight, buoyancy, and lift. A poorly balanced design is a tactical vulnerability. Physics isn't decorative — it's the heart of the game.
Deep Logistics: Wire Everything Link fuel tanks to engines, ammo boxes to turrets, your seat to the rudder. As your base grows, its internal network becomes just as important as its walls.
Mobile Fortresses: Land, Sea, and Air Connect propulsion modules to turn your base into an ironclad, a hovercraft, or a flying fortress. Mobility isn't an extra — it's a survival tool.
The Tide: Massive Pressure at Individual Scale Up to 6,000 individually processed enemies behaving like a force of nature. This isn't a visual effect — each one has its own pathfinding and objectives. Surviving demands perfect synergy between your turret network and your own decisions.
Direct Combat When Turrets Aren't Enough Turrets handle most of the work. But when the Tide breaks through the perimeter, you're the last line of defense. Melee combat protects vital modules and breaks enemy lines.
Character Progression with a Skill Tree Level up and unlock passive skills: health regeneration, inventory slots, stamina and more. Roguelike upgrades from world chests combine with this progression to shape your build throughout the run.
Roguelike Upgrades and Recycling Find stackable upgrades in world chests. The recycling system lets you dismantle what you don't need to craft targeted upgrades. Progress through multiple tiers of tools, weapons, and items.
Three Death Modes — You Choose How Much It Hurts When you fall, the game doesn't decide for you:
- Default — The experience as intended. You must craft a Cloning Bay, fuel it, and wait for the clone to be ready. Die without one active and you lose your world forever.
- Medium — Reload your last save with a money penalty and a random inventory slot lost.
- Casual — Reload your last save with no penalty other than lost time.
Fully Moddable (XML) Almost all game content — enemies, weapons, recipes, loot, translations — is stored in editable XML files. No special tools needed.
